When something goes wrong, passengers can get stressed or angry. B2 On the ramp
The ramp is the area around the aircraft. Between landing and the next departure, the team has to unload, clean, refuel, cater and load the plane again. This whole process is called the turnaround.A rampa é a área ao redor da aeronave. Entre o pouso e a próxima partida, a equipe precisa descarregar, limpar, abastecer, repor o serviço de bordo e carregar o avião de novo. Todo esse processo se chama turnaround (o tempo em solo entre um voo e o seguinte).
During pushback, the ramp agent talks to the pilots through a headset connected to the aircraft. The exact words follow each airline’s procedures, but these phrases are very common.Durante o pushback, o agente de rampa fala com os pilotos por um fone conectado à aeronave. Lost and damaged baggage
When a bag doesn’t arrive, the passenger goes to the baggage services desk. The agent fills in a PIR (Property Irregularity Report) and gives the passenger a reference number to track the bag.Quando uma mala não chega, o passageiro vai ao balcão de bagagens.
