How to read the pronunciation

The line under each letter shows its phonetic symbols in IPA (International Phonetic Alphabet), the system used in dictionaries. The bottom line is an approximation in Portuguese, just to help you at the start: the audio is always the best reference. When a letter has two pronunciations, UK (United Kingdom) marks British English and US (United States) marks American English.
