Action verbs for your CV

Tell me about yourself

This is almost always the first question. It is not about your childhood or your family: it is a short professional story. B2 Strengths, weaknesses and the STAR method

Talking about strengths

Do not just list adjectives. Choose two or three strengths that match the job and prove each one with a short example.Não fique só listando adjetivos. Escolha duas ou três qualidades que combinem com a vaga e comprove cada uma com um exemplo curto.

Talking about weaknesses

“What is your greatest weakness?” is a test of honesty and self-awareness. Avoid clichés like “I’m a perfectionist” and never mention a weakness that is essential for the job. Use the formula: a real weakness, what you are doing to improve, and the result so far.“Qual é o seu maior ponto fraco?” é um teste de honestidade e autoconhecimento. Behavioral questions and the STAR method

Questions that start with Tell me about a time when … or Give me an example of … want a real story. Organize it with STAR: Situation, Task, Action, Result.
